Having worked within the trade since the tender age of 13 I really don't know anything else other than locks and keys.
At the age of 17 I was employed full time by one of the oldest and most respected locksmith companies in the country with a 400+ year pedigree. I was soon under the wing of a gentleman with over 50 years locksmith experience in the UK and Canada. His training was tough, you started at grass roots level and he wasnt afraid to let you struggle for hours whilst picking an illusive padlock, safe or cash box etc.
The training stood me in great stead and once I became self employed a few years later I was competent in all aspects of locksmithing.
